Subject: June 16 Meeting Newsletter

The June meeting of Tau Epsilon Sigma Chapter of Tri-Ess was held at the Royal Coachman Motel in Fife, WA.  The dinner outing at Johnny's of Fife was preceded by a social hour and business meeting.

Key to the business meeting was the election of Stephanie as "First Lady" of the Chapter.  Stephanie will function as the facilitator for the group as a contact to other groups in the area such as Emerald City and others.  Stephanie will be looking to all the Chapter members for support in reaching out to new members and support in up coming Chapter events and activities. Other Chapter officers elected were Deena, Secretary; Lynn, Treasurer and Librarian; and Romana, Web Mistress.

The Chapter will be looking to moving further North toward Seattle in hopes that such a move will enable more members to attend on a regular basis.  A new restaurant that will support us is being sought.  The July meeting is planned to be a picnic with Romana identifying a suitable park where we can meet.  Members and new members will be encouraged to attend in drab or enfemme which ever way they are more comfortable.  The August meeting will include a golf outing for those so inclined followed by a regular chapter meeting for members and SO's that are not wanting to test their links skills.

All Chapter members will be encouraged to reach out to new prospective members.  We have had nine contacts from prospective members since the first of 2007 mostly through the efforts of Janice and Helen.  I believe that we all need to reach back in memory and remember when "we" didn't have Tau Epsilon Sigma as a resource for support and caring.  There are many out there that need "Trees".

As a last note--Johnny's puts out pretty good food and the staff was very receptive to the Group.
